“HOPE” by Joy Elizabeth

I have been in many debates with people over the meaning of hope.  I have always said to others “I hope you have the out come you wish for” and they look at me with puzzlement and say “Hope? there is no hope, there is only… that it will happen”.

As a Doctor of Metaphysical Sciences, I want to look into the meaning of Hope.  Hope is a word that gives us the longing to continue, hope gives us all reason to look for what we desire and hope lets us expect what we desire. .  To me, Hope simply gives us the ability and desire to MANIFEST.

Hope is an emotional state, hope is the opposite of despair, hope promotes the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life. Hope is the “feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best” or the act of “looking forward to with desire and reasonable confidence” or “feeling that something desired may happen”.  Also Hope is “to cherish a desire with anticipation”; “to desire with expectation of obtainment”; or “to expect with confidence”.

The difference between hope and optimism is this: hope entails pathways and thoughts to an intended goal. Optimism leads one to “expect the best, but it does not necessarily provide any critical thinking about how we are going to arrive at this improved future”.

To Hope is not negitive or a step down from that we know something will occure or happen, but simply to Hope we are putting our desires and wants into action.  We are now in the forfront of manifestation.

My Hope for all of you is to have everything that you desire.  in other words my wish for you or my manifestation for you, is that you will have all that you have ever dreamed would make your lives remarkable and perfect.

Hope is all that is perfect, beautiful and possible.  So bring hope and possibilities into your live’s today. …Hope is beautiful, Hope is perfect!

“Be In This Moment and Create Your Tomorrow”  by Joy Elizabeth

This moment is the only one that matters.  This moment is the only one there is.  This is the only moment that counts.

Be in the moment.  Be in this moment.  After all, this moment matters too.  This is the moment that has space, the space to create.

Take a breath, and breathe in the present moment.  Exhale and release it.  Now you are present in this moment.

The past is just that…Past.  It cannot touch you unless you bring it into your mind.

Let this moment take you into the future, its a bright new beginning every moment.  This moment is laying the ground work for tomorrow.  You have a new beginning every moment.  A new beginning to create your tomorrow.

Social Media has become such an overwhelming part of our lives… We live in it, we breath it , we seem to not be able to live without it.

“Dancing With Happiness” by Joy Elizabeth

In honor of this weeks Presidents Day I would like to quote Abraham Lincoln, “People are as happy as they make up their minds to be”.

Be in this moment.  Clear your minds.  happiness comes from within.  Most believe that a new car, a new home, or a new outfit will somehow be the magic fix to their happiness.  Perhaps as we walk through prestine mountains, we are thinking about that cup of coffee we will have after the walk or that new home we may have one day, thinking forward to what we believe will make us happy rather than being in the now.  listen to the wind blow, feel the air on our skin, hear the pounding of our hearts or watch the way the sunlight filters through the trees.  Happiness comes from within.   If we fail to focus on now, our happiness now, than we will never be happy, we will always be in search of our happiness.

A quote from a book Happy Yoga, “Someone gave me this glass, and I really like this glass. It holds my water admirably and it glistens in the sunlight. I touch it and it rings! One day the wind may blow it off the shelf, or my elbow may knock it from the table. I know this glass is already broken, so I enjoy it incredibly…‎”

Yoga forces the now through the breath and postures.  by listening to how our bodies respond to the pose and concentrating on our breath, we stay in the now.  Happiness is found here within. our bodies and our minds bring us into the moment and we feel our spirit, that joyful glee of our inner spirit as it wraps us in the warmth of love and light.

“You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait. Do not even wait, be quite still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.‎”

Today, right now… Find the ecstasy at your feet. Begin your dance with happiness.

The history of Mardi Gras began long before Europeans set foot in the New World. In mid February the ancient Romans celebrated the Lupercalia, a circus like festival not entirely unlike the Mardi Gras we are familiar with today. When Rome embraced Christianity, the early Church fathers decided it was better to incorporate certain aspects of pagan rituals into the new faith rather than attempt to abolish them altogether. Carnival became a period of abandon and merriment that preceded the penance of Lent, thus giving a Christian interpretation to the ancient custom.

Mardi Gras came to America in 1699 with the French explorer Iberville. Mardi Gras had been celebrated in Paris since the Middle Ages, where it was a major holiday. Iberville sailed into the Gulf of Mexico, from where he launched an expedition up the Mississippi River. On March 3 of 1699, Iberville had set up a camp on the west bank of the river about 60 miles south of where New Orleans is today. This was the day Mardi Gras was being celebrated in France. In honor of this important day, Iberville named the site Point du Mardi Gras.

The origins of carnival date back to the ancient Greek spring festival in honor of Dionysus, the god of wine. The Romans adopted the celebration with Bacchanalia (feasts in honor of Bacchus, the Roman equivalent to Dionysus). Saturnalia (Ancient Roman Festival) was later modified by the Roman Catholic Church into a festival leading up Ash Wednesday. It quickly evolved into a massive celebration of indulgences before Lent – before the 40 days of personal reflection, abstinence, and fasting until Easter (not exactly what the Church probably had in mind). 40 days of purging sins, preceded by a week filled with virtually every known sin. The word itself comes from Latin, “Carne Vale” or “Farewell to the Flesh”.

On this day “Fat Tuesday”  Lets celabrate prosperity and abundace, lets celebrate health and vibrancy, let’s celebrate “giving back”. Yes, the world has seen economic slow down, but LifePath Unlimited steps in with the ability to improve life with a solid foundation in excellent products and proven prosperity for those that truley put in a few hours every day for their Fat Tuesday.

“Limiting Beliefs or Creating a Reality”   by Joy Elizabeth Msc.D.

You can change who you are by changing what you say to yourself when you talk to your mind. Limiting beliefs are a choice.

By limiting beliefs, you are saying you cannot do something or saying that you will never have what you want, etc.  By saying this things to yourself, you are putting a picture in your head of what it is you do not want instead of creating the picture in your head of what you most want.

When we create a picture in our heads of what we want and we believe that it is ours, then we only need a small bit of patience to manifest this picture into reality.  We need to keep that picture in our head, and know it is ours, we can smell it and feel it.  Now all of our actions throughout the day will be directed at the manifestation of our thoughts.

We have to be aware enough to pay attention to our thoughts and beliefs if we are going to change our life and circumstances. You can change your mind in an instant. It is a shift in belief and the size of change is irrelevant.

When I find myself stuck, I ask for a miracle. A miracle is a shift in perception. Nothing changes other than my perception and attitude…which is everything. We need to go into the world with fabulous attitudes… we attract what we are.

Exercise:  Sit comfortably and in a quit place.  Picture a silver thread going up your spine and connecting to the place between your eyes.  See vividly what it is that you want in your life, hear the sounds, smell the smells, feel it in your hands, know that by having this in your life you will help everyone around you, now surround this picture with white light and say “And so it is”  now believe.

This will be the year we all remember as the year that The “Game Changed” for LifePath Unlimited World Wide!
